I plan on purchasing a 4200hydro w/loader & 60"mid mower. I am alsoconsidering the model 47 backhoe and was wondering if it is a worth-while tool.

I love mine! I got it last week (waited a month). The 47 backhoe is a blast. This is my first tractor so I did a lot of talking and looking around before deciding on the deere. The dealer makes a big difference. I got a leak in the hyd. system and the dealer came out picked up the tractor (the same afternoon) fixed it and washed the tractor and gave me a couple of gifts for my "trouble". I cant stress the importance of buying from a good dealer. The backhoe and loader come off in seconds and the machine has plenty of power. So far so good!!! ....
